Benita
Benita is the operational heart of Kayo Services & Consulting and the lead designer behind every itinerary that leaves our studio. As Chief Operating Officer, she sets the standard for how a luxury concierge practice should run: quietly, precisely, and in service of a single traveler at a time.
Her authority on Africa is earned. She founded and led a non-profit dedicated to combatting malaria across the continent — work that took her from ministerial offices in capital cities to remote villages most travelers will never see. Those relationships now shape what our clients experience: private conservancies, family-run estates, and guides whose names open doors that money alone cannot.
Benita's poise on the world stage is no accident. In 1985 she represented her country at Miss Universe, finishing as 2nd runner-up — an early chapter in a life lived across cultures. She speaks six languages fluently, and her clients hear it in the way she negotiates a last-minute change in Florence, briefs a Maasai guide in Maa, or coaxes a private viewing from a Parisian gallerist after hours.
